ZARAKI 雑記

About / Contact

A journal made
between places.

ZARAKI means miscellaneous notes: fragments gathered without forcing them into a single answer.

Founded in 2017, we publish long-form stories about craft, architecture, food and the texture of ordinary life. Each issue is printed in a numbered edition on responsibly sourced uncoated paper.

Our editorial office is small and independent. We commission original writing and photography, pay every contributor, and accept no undisclosed sponsorship.

Submissions

Send a short proposal, links to previous work and why the story belongs in ZARAKI. We read submissions in January and July.
